Relay for Life overcomes the elements

Right: The annual Relay for Life of the Anthracite Region to benefit the American Cancer Society went on as scheduled Saturday in the Tamaqua Area High School stadium despite drenching rain. There were a few changes such as luminaries were kept under a canopy instead of along the walking track. It was the second straight year heavy rain fell during the annual event.
