Donations and volunteers are needed for the fourth annual Lansford Halloween Festival on Oct. 29 in Ashton Park, organizers said.
Volunteers are needed to set up ahead of the festival, which runs from 2 to 6 p.m., as well as help during the event and breakdown, Michele Bartek said.
Donations are also needed for the basket raffle. New items that can be wrapped are being accepted, said Moon Ward, another organizer.
The safe trick-or-treat event is designed for children ages 2 to 12 from Lansford and the surrounding communities with free rides, treats, games, costume contest and more for the youngsters.
Food vendors will also be on hand for adults to purchase food and drinks.
Businesses or individuals interested in donating, participating, or volunteering can email lhsevents@yahoo.com or call Michele Bartek at 570-578-7189.
