Walnutport plans to replace a sign on the porch of its borough hall building.

Council President Michael Gaston said Thursday a day care sign had been on the porch of borough hall.

The day care sign was for the ABC Early Learning day care at 417 Lincoln Ave., which is behind borough hall.

Gaston said he believes the borough has a nice facility, and suggested eventually putting a sign with the borough’s logo on the porch of borough hall.

The cost would be between $350 to $400, and that it’s in the budget, according to officials.
