Schuylkill County commissioners on Wednesday:

• Acknowledged the hiring of Brittany Maurer, of Hegins, as a caseworker 2 for the Children and Youth Services Agency at $21.73 an hour starting Oct. 2.

• Other hires are Michele Reber, of Wayne Township, as a District Justice Assistant 1 at $18.09 an hour starting Sept. 25; Devin Nunemacher, of Mahanoy City, and Eli Bohard, of Hegins, as unpaid interns in the Sheriff’s Department as of Sept. 11 and Sept. 18, respectively; Charles Stettler Jr., of Tamaqua, and Giovanni Dunn, of Pottsville, as Case Officers 1 in Domestic Relations at $22.11 an hour as of Sept. 25 and Sept. 18, respectively; and Katelynn Steich, of Eldred Township, as an unpaid intern in Court Administration as of Sept. 11.
