Temporary signals in place at roundabout

A new traffic control pattern will be in place with a four-way intersection controlled by temporary signals at the roundabout in Brodheadville.

The work is part of a project to build roundabouts at the Route 209/115 intersection and the Route 209/Pleasant Valley Lane intersection, as well as a new traffic signal at Route 209 and Pilgrim Way and Pleasant Valley Middle School Drive, pedestrian accommodations, retaining wall, pedestrian lighting system, and other miscellaneous construction.

The project includes widening of both routes 209 and 115 from two to four lanes around the Pleasant Valley School District campus.

The $18,823,325 project began in March 2021 and is anticipated to be complete in November 2024.
