Legion auxiliary installs officers

Shoemaker-Haydt American Legion Unit #314 installed officers for 2023-2024 at a recent meeting.

They are: Larue Fritz, president; Frances Keener, first vice president; Joan Troutman, second vice president; Debra Bokan, secretary; Susan Rhodes Procina, treasurer; Brenda Fisher, chaplain; Wendy Bell, senior sergeant at arms; Maria Speth, junior sergeant at arms.

Installing Officer was Georgeann Herling, district president for Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe and Northampton counties.

Chairman for Shoemaker-Haydt Unit 314 American Legion Auxiliary are: Americanism, Melissa Hyska; children in youth, Debra Bokan, Wendy Bell and Melissa Hyska; public relations, Larue Fritz; constitution and bylaws, Frances Keener; education, Joan Troutman and Melissa Hyska; Girls State, Larue Fritz; leadership, Frances Keener; legislative, Susan Procina; membership, Susan Procina; national security, Wendy Bell; past presidents, Larue Fritz and Frances Keener; poppy, Larue Fritz; V.A. and R., Brenda Fisher and Joan Troutman.
