The Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association (MAEA) will conduct Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace training from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at its Pottsville office.
The course explores the concept of emotional intelligence (EI) and its significance in personal and professional development.
The course highlights the differences between emotional intelligence and traditional intelligence (IQ), emphasizing the value of EI in building successful relationships, effective communication, and overall well-being.
Marc Maddy, the course instructor, is the director of Organizational Quality, Effectiveness, & Development at Service Access & Management, Inc. He is a career social worker with almost 20 years of experience working in various human service organizations and more than 10 years of learning and development experience.
Cost is $188 for members and $376 for non-members, which includes lunch.
