Lansford Borough Council will hold a special meeting for general purposes at 6 p.m. today.

Among the items to be discussed are a gaming grant for new turnout gear for the fire company, and adopting a job description for the code enforcement officer position, said Bruce Markovich, council president.

Council will also discuss moving forward with new pool renovations or a splash pad, and adopting a resolution opposing a county-wide reassessment, he said.
