Friends Helping Friends, a Boscov’s program, is partnering with the West End Food Pantry to stop food insecurity in Monroe County.

If you are heading to the West End Fair, which kicks off Sunday, don’t forget make a $5 donation at the West End Food Pantry stand.

In return for your donation you will receive a Boscov’s 25% off the lowest price of what you are purchasing, good at any Boscov’s from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Oct. 18.

Friends Helping Friends is just one of the many things that will take place at this year’s West End Fair.

At 3 p.m. on Sunday, the 2023 West End Fair Queen and Princess will be crowned. They will then walk around the fair to talk to the public, get to know what the people like about the fair, attend luncheon meetings, and help with the kids’ activities and senior program.

There will also be a sensory-friendly morning on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon. The time allows for those with sensory processing disorders to have some time at the fair that will be less stressful.
