Faith Church of Weatherly will remember loved ones who passed away as a result of an overdose later this month.

The church will host an International Overdose Awareness Day and candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. on Aug. 31 at the amphitheater in Eurana Park, Weatherly.

The event will center around remembering those that have been lost and bringing the community together.

Anyone wishing to add a loved one’s photo to a banner that will be hung on the front of the amphitheater can do so by sending the photo and some information about the person via text to Lenore Scatton at 484-464-1604 by Aug. 20.

The event is open to everyone.
