Church picnic

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church Annual Church Picnic begins at noon Saturday. The service is at 2 p.m.

Guest speaker is Roger Berger, with live music by Dean Hahn and The Hawks beginning at 4 p.m.

Activities include: Kiddie cake walk and fish pond at 3 p.m. Cake walk for all ages at 6:30 p.m. followed by a raffle drawing.

The church is located off Route 209 behind Towamensing Fire Company. The address is 500 Church Drive Palmerton (Trachsville).

Pool party

The Palmerton Memorial Park pool will host Old Timers Day Saturday.

Activities include sweatshirt relay, decades fashion show, hot dogs, birch beer, oldies music and duck race.
