Christmas is about to come a little early in Palmerton.

Palmerton Memorial Pool will hold its Christmas in July event on Saturday, with events starting around 1 p.m.

A special visitor will visit the pool around 2 p.m., and there will be gift giveaways, music playing, and Christmas trivia.

Before the event, the pool will be open from 10 a.m. to noon for adult lap swimming only.

The pool will then open at noon for the general public. The new rates for out-of-town residents is $10 for children, and $15 for adults.
