The beach at Beltzville State Park was closed today and will remain closed until acceptable water samples are received, the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources announced.

The department has posted closure signs at the beach.

Other activities at Beltzville, such as picnicking, hiking and fishing are still available.
