Members of the Summit Hill Planning Commission resigned en masse Monday night, attributing their decision to “backlash of criticism” when they make decisions.

The borough council accepted the resignations of Joseph Kosalko, Phillip Shelton, Paul Norris and Franklin Weidman with regret and said letters of gratitude will be sent to them.

Named to succeed them were Maxine Vermillion, Rev. Frank Spada, Robert Crampsie and James Szczecina.

In an unrelated matter, the council acknowledged Michael Mizak has terminated his term as a member of the zoning hearing board.
