A Lehighton woman has been charged with public drunkenness and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Lehighton Police Department were dispatched at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday to the Carbon Mini Mart for a report of a possibly intoxicated woman.

Police located Pamela Bowman, 46, who was showing signs of impairment.

Bowman was taken into custody.

During a search police said they found methamphetamine, fentanyl, and related drug paraphernalia.

Charges have been filed for narcotics possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and public drunkenness.
