The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of July 3-7 is:

Monday: Hot Dog, Potato Wedges, Baked Beans, Watermelon or Deli Chicken Sandwich

Tuesday: Center closed in observance of the Fourth of July

Wednesday: Onion Soup, Swedish Meatballs, Noodles, Carrots, Fruit Cup or Harvest Chicken Salad

Thursday: Roast Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, Cauliflower and Peas, Cookie or Beef and Cheese Sandwich

Friday: Cheeseburger, Diced Potatoes, Broccoli Slaw, Cantaloupe or Cranberry Chicken Salad

The center also has announced upcoming events for July 3-14.

Celebrate the 4th of July on July 3 at 11 a.m.; Center closed on July 4; Po-Keeno on July 5 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on July 6 at 10:45 a.m.; Skeeball Tournament on July 7 at 11 a.m.

Scattergories on July 10 at 11 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on July 11 at 10:45 a.m.; Balloon Tennis on July 12 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on July 13 at 10 a.m. followed by Po-Keeno at 11; Picnic at Eurana Park, Weatherly on July 14 at 9 a.m.

Cards, pool, games, available daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Summit Hill tax collector

The tax office of Nathan R. Halenar, Summit Hill Borough Tax Collector, is closed today and Friday for vacation. The office will reopen on Wednesday with regular office hours.
