Fire crews from Monroe and Northampton counties battle a brush fire that closed Route 33 southbound from between the Wind Gap and 512 exits. Smoke was reported in the area from the Snydersville exit through to Wind Gap. Appalachian Trail hikers were warned to get off the trail in that area.
