Two people died in a structure fire Wednesday morning in Lake Wynonah, Wayne Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven did not identify the two victims but said their bodies were turned over to the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.

The fire was reported at 5:35 a.m. at 1027 Indian Drive. Police said the Troop L Major Case Team and Fire Marshal’s Unit are investigating the blaze and what caused the deaths.

Firefighters from Summit Station, the Hose and Liberty companies, both of Schuylkill Haven, Friedensburg, Pine Grove H.H. & L., and Mt. Aetna (Berks County) responded.
