St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mahoning is having a rummage sale Friday (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and Saturday (8 a.m. to noon).

Donations for the Carbon County Animal Shelter are being accepted during the sale.

Two raffle tickets for either a $25 Giant or $25 Walmart gift card will be given to each participant.

Some of the items needed by the animal shelter are dog and cat food and treats, along with cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer.

Worship service at the church is 9 a.m. Sunday and UVO Memorial Day Service is at 10:45 a.m. with communion. Coffee and refreshments between services. Wear Red for Pentecost.
