Nearly 200 people attended a dedication service yesterday for the rebuilt Wesleyan Church on North Sixth Street in Lehighton.

About 50 percent of the work was done by members of the congregation. Paul Harmadi of Lehighton and Ron Petkus of Bethlehem, designers and contractors, did the planning and erected the walls of the structure.

The rebuilt church has a main auditorium capable of seating 250 people, a special youth auditorium, 13 classrooms and lavatories on its main floor. A special ramp for handicapped people was also installed on the side of the building.
