May 20, 1968 - Denny Grejda homers and provides the evential winning run with a bunt single in the sixth inning as Panther Valley rallies for a 4-3 North Schuylkill League victory over Mount Carmel. Grejda’s solo blast in the third inning is the only run PV scores until pushing across three in the sixth to pull out the win. Ron Everett starts the rally with a single, steals second and scores on an RBI single by Tony Goyda. Goyda eventually reaches third on an error and comes home with the tying run on a Joe Blazosky sacrifice fly. Charlie Depuy keeps the inning alive with a single, and brings in the go-ahead run on Grejda’s bunt single.
