Tamaqua School District - Personnel
Tamaqua Area School Board approved the following personnel moves at its monthly meeting Tuesday night:
• Resignations of Marjorie McCormick, middle school language teacher, Sept. 15; and Michael Grabowski, high school mathematics teacher, date to be determined; Kate Zukovich of Tamaqua, confidential administrative assistant effective May 18.
• Hiring of K. Zukovich as clerical substitute at a rate of $10.02 an hour.
• Appointments of Carly Sassaman of Tamaqua, volunteer girls soccer coach; Rebekah Hromyak and Emma Kuczynski both of Tamaqua, volunteer girls basketball coaches; Terri Livingston, substitute teacher coordinator; Heather Metric, Access billing coordinator; Mark Beltz, high school band director; Randa Ray, freshman class adviser and world language club adviser.
Also, Dana Ayers, yearbook adviser; Lawrence Capozzelli, physics and engineering club adviser; Taylor Prehotsky, elementary assistant gaming coach; Lori Hudak, Brockton, as a volunteer band assistant; Amy Gardiner of Tamaqua, volunteer band assistant; and Erika Campomizzi, Shaina Ristila and Spencer Davis, all of Tamaqua, substitute custodians at a rate of $11.04.
• Appointments of department chairs: Robin Fink, high school mathematics; James McCabe, high school health and physical education; Connie Segedy, high school social studies, and Sherri Gerber, high school special education.
• Appointments of extended school year teachers at a stipend of $2,500: S. Gerber, Aaron Gill, Amanda Woodring, Stacy Setlock, Emile Baker, Abigail Graver, Vanessa Gimbor, Krystal Fitzgerald, Katelyn Midas, McKenzie Habel and Braily Rottet.
• Appointments of extended school year paraprofessionals at current hourly rates: Susan Zehner, Maddie McGlinchey, Hedy Cohen, Julianna Meckes and Dara Schaeffer.
