Nesquehoning Police responded to a report of shots fired at the rifle range on the Broad Mountain, Route 93 Saturday night.

Police arrived at 9:58 p.m. and found four teens inside the range but they denied having guns.

Officers said they heard shots from inside a vehicle and called for additional police.

The juveniles got out of the vehicle and said two of them were shot due to a negligent discharge as they were trying to hide the gun.

Police rendered aid at the scene until EMS arrived.

Both juveniles were taken to local hospitals.

Police said more details will be released when the investigation is complete.
