Letter to the Editor: Liberalism and all its ills

Editor,

One can define Liberalism as, the right to think, feel and do everything the unrestrained passions demand,

Today liberalism is at its “twilight” as it is progressing to the more extreme forms of the unrestrained passions; everyone must be allowed to do as they wish. In the past Christian morality kept liberalism in check but now with the demise of religion it is advancing unabated.

Liberalism today is not interested in freedom for what is good, when in power liberalism restrict the freedom of the good as much as possible and promotes the freedom of evil.

Now, radical liberalism demands anyone can identify as anything they want. Men can be women and women can be men. Drag queens, effeminate men dressed like women, wickedly entertain in public venues and are now being used to recruit men into the Navy.

On the altar of liberalism people are allowed to do as they please, regardless of the consequences. Drugs, violence and unnatural vice advance at a frantic pace bringing destruction to individuals, families and communities. These same unrestrained passions are forcing schoolteachers to leave their jobs because of undisciplined student behavior.

Because of its evil dynamism, the unrestrained passions continually evolve; now young women must aspire to become like the man dressed like a girl whose face is planted on every can of Bud Lite.

Liberalism joyfully imposes a double standard whereby good is persecuted, and evil is given every right. The result of this unrestraint is our current fragmentation and polarization.

We didn’t arrive to this point in our culture overnight.

For those of faith, have confidence; for as the “twilight” of liberalism advances, and when evil appears most powerful and its victory most certain, only those who confide in the light of Christ will witness the “sunrise” of the victory that the Blessed Mother prophesied to the world in 1917 at Fatima, Portugal, when She proclaimed: “In the end my Immaculate Heart will Triumph and a reign of peace will come to the world.”
