The Students of the Month for April were recognized for their successes at the beginning of the Pleasant Valley School Board meeting on April 27.

One at a time, each student went up to the podium with his or her teacher or principal and family and a recognition of their works was read to the board.

Afterward, each student received a certificate and small gift, as well as hugs and handshakes.

The students include:

• Kindergarten - Aria Lizardi;

• First grade - Briar Handelong;

• Second grade - Zamire Cotton;

• Third grade - Brody DeSieno;

• Fourth grade - Aniya House;

• Fifth grade - Hannah Jones;

• Sixth grade - Brandon Regina;

• Seventh grade - Quinn Johnson;

• Eighth grade - Mason Ward;

• Ninth grade - Sofiia Khoperska;

• Tenth grade - Laura Ballek;

• Eleventh grade Aiden Sawyer, and;

• Twelfth grade - Justin Unger.
