Police report LCE statistics for April

The Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, has released a statistical report of activity conduct by investigators in April for the District 9 coverage area that included Lehigh, Northampton and Schuylkill counties, among others.

Officer assigned to the office are charged with enforcing liquor laws and related provisions at 3,512 establishments licensed by the Liquor Control Board.

The following is April’s enforcement activity: complaints receiver, 65; violation letters issued for violations of liquor laws, 24; warning letters issued for violations of liquor laws, 21; citations issued for underage consumption and possession, 6; and criminal arrests, 7.
