Tobyhanna man tries to run woman off the road

A Tobyhanna man has been charged with multiple offenses after he allegedly tried to run a woman off the road with his vehicle Saturday evening in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said officers were dispatched at 10 p.m. to 2454 Route 940 in Pocono Summit for a rolling domestic involving two vehicles.

The victim was followed by the suspect for four miles before arriving at police headquarters, and reported the suspect, Thaddeus Kellman-Manzano, 32, was trying to run her off the road.

The victim had an active Protection From Abuse against Kellman-Manzano.

While at headquarters, the suspect was belligerent, refused to comply with the police investigation and resisted arrest.

When Kellman-Manzano was taken into custody, an officer suffered injuries.

Kellman-Manzano faces charges of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer; stalking; terroristic threats; simple assault; resisting arrest; disorderly conduct; DUI; harassment; and reckless driving.
