Pasta Dinner

Zion Lutheran’s Culinary Ministry is hosting a pasta dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. or sell out on Thursday, May 11.

The dinner includes spaghetti, meatballs and sausage, salad, bread and dessert. Take outs available. There is a charge for the meal.

Zion Lutheran is located at the corner of Mauch Chunk and Greenwood streets. All are welcome.

Zion Lewistown

Pastor Jim Williams will officiate at the 10:30 a.m. worship service this Sunday at Zion Church, Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.

Game day will be held in Memorial Hall from noon until 3 p.m. this Sunday.

Andreas VFW

Andreas VFW Post 5069 will meet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10 at West Penn Annex.

A poppy sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 24 at the Hometown Market.

Calvary Evangelical

The Rev. Susan Moore will offer the message at the 10:25 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Calvary Evangelical Church, Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. and evening service at 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday prayer and share at 7 p.m. on May 10.

Cleanup at Lewistown Valley Tabernacle is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. for May 6, 13 and 20. Please bring rakes, shovels, buckets, cleaning supplies, cloths for windows and other interior and exterior cleaning, brooms, vacuums, etc.
