A 15-year-old Palmerton boy is the victim of a harassment by cyber threat case that is being investigated by state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said they were called to Hahn’s Dairy Road at 10 p.m. April 27 when the victim told them he sent sensitive photographic images of himself to an unknown person via social media.

Police said the person threatened to send the images to the victim’s other contacts and acquaintances unless the victim provided him $300.
