Schuylkill county coroner Dr. David Moylan said a West Penn Township farmer died Saturday when a large hay bale fell on him.

Larry Faust’s death was accidental, Moylan said.

He said a CT scan would be done later Monday to confirm the cause and manner of death.

A relative said that Faust, of Cold Spring Road, was moving the hay bale, which weighed about 600 pounds, with a tractor when it rolled back on top of him.
