A Kunkletown woman was killed Friday night in a motorcycle crash on Strawberry Hill Road in Hamilton Township, Monroe County.

State police at Stroudsburg said Alexia L. Getz was driving the motorcycle at 9:45 p.m. when she missed a left hand curve in the road and continued straight, landing in a drainage ditch. Getz, 26, and a passenger, Alissandra T. Marcussen, 21, of Pen Argyl, were thrown from the bike.

Getz was pronounced dead at the scene. Marcussen was transported to Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospital for minor injuries.
