Police had an arrest warrant issued against Warren Smith, 54, of Coal Township, after he allegedly stole $2,953.63 worth of over-the-counter medications from the ShopRite store, Kinsley Drive, Chestnuthuill Township, on March 31.

Police said they were called there at 10:24 a.m. after Smith placed the medications over the counter into two bags and left the store without paying, fleeing in a white sedan bearing a Pennsylvania license plate.

Police said Smith had committed similar thefts in surrounding counties.
