• Sister Chix (support group for widows and divorced women): The last Sunday of each month at noon. Please bring your lunch, dessert and coffee are served. If you’d like to attend, please contact the office at 570-386-4547. Please leave a message if you call outside of office hours (noon-5 p.m., Monday through Friday).

• Men’s Bible Workshop: First and third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.

• AWANA for Children and Youth: every Wednesday at 6 p.m.

• Food bank: Third Saturday of the month, 9 a.m.-noon. Please bring a driver’s license or some other form of identification.

St. John’s Evangelical

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Mahoning, 826 Mahoning Drive West, Lehighton, will hold worship service at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday. All access worship in the social hall.

Grief support will be held at 6 p.m. on April 17.

A rummage sale will take place on May 26 and 27. Donations are still being accepted. No clothing or electronics. Small appliances in working conditions are accepted. Drop off donations in the nursery.
