Integrative health care clinic opens in Orwigsburg

Peak Integrative Medicine, a new healthcare clinic that combines conventional and natural approaches to medicine, opened last weekend.

To celebrate the milestone, Peak Integrative Medicine is hosting a joint celebration with Yoga B Yoga and Healthy Habits Natural Market at the location at 1120 Centre Turnpike in Orwigsburg.

Peak Integrative Medicine is an evolution and expansion of Dr. Buddy Touchinsky’s chiropractic and functional medicine practice founded in 2005. He has added a team of practitioners, including Jess Tarleton (integrative health coach), Dr. Brandon Aucker (chiropractor), Dr. Liana Rodriguez (internal medicine physician and functional medicine physician), Amy Strauss (CRNP), and Christin Kellett (CRNP), to offer integrative medical care services to the community.

Peak Integrative Medicine’s care is “integrative,” combining the best of conventional medicine with natural approaches, and may include everything from medications to nutritional and herbal supplements, with lifestyle and dietary modifications.

Patients can use Peak as their family medical practice, or they can keep their current providers and use Peak for lifestyle and functional medicine services and chiropractic care.

Peak Integrative Medicine caters to those who are looking for a more personalized, less rushed healthcare experience at an affordable price, as well as those who are not getting results in the conventional insurance-based system.
