Weatherly’s Shepherd House food distribution will be from 10 a.m. to noon on April 22 held on April 22 at Zion’s Evangelical Church in Weatherly, located at 335 Third Street. Use the side entrance to the church on Fell Street to pick up food. If there is a food emergency, contact Charlie Hettler at 570-427-8981. May 27 and June 24 are the next food distribution dates.

Weatherly Area Community Library events:

April 14: Storytime, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Book sale will be open for parents to buy books at $2 a bag. Pre-register for Storytime to assure enough crafts will be available.

April 14 and 15: Booksale, $2 a bag. 9 a.m. to noon both days; evening hours on April 14 from 4:30-7:00 p.m.

April 29: College Planning 101, 10 a.m. Thrivent Financial will host free workshop, presented by Susan Lovejoy, financial adviser.

Program is limited to the first 20 who register. Deadline is Monday, April 24.
