State police at Lehighton report the following driving under the influence incidents.

• A 19-year-old Jim Thorpe man is facing charges of possession of controlled substance (marijuana) after a traffic stop.

Police said they stopped the man while driving a 2003 BMW at 9:28 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 1200 block of Route 903 in Penn Forest Township, after which time he was found to be in possession of the drugs.

• A 52-year-old Gilbert man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop.

Police said they stopped the man for a vehicle code violation at the intersection of Corner and Gilbert roads in Chestnuthill Township.

• A 51-year-old woman from Norristown is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at 1:39 a.m. March 23 at the intersection of Bankway and East Bridge streets in Lehighton.

Police said she was driving a 2008 Subaru Impreza when she was stopped for several traffic violations.

• A 57 year-old Gilbert man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance following a traffic stop at 8:42 p.m. on March 3 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.

• A 21-year-old woman from Jim Thorpe is facing drug possession and driving under the influence of a controlled substance charges after a traffic stop.

Police said they stopped the woman for a vehicle code violation while she was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Impala at 10:52 p.m. March 22 at the intersection of the Maury Road and Route 2017 in Penn Forest Township.

In addition to police suspecting her to be DUI, she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

• A 19-year-old Weatherly man from Weatherly faces on drug possession charges after a traffic stop at 11:29 p.m. March 22.

Police said they stopped the man while he was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala at the intersection of the Maury Road and Route 2017 in Penn Forest Township, after which time he was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

• A 21-year-old Easton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol following a crash that happened at 1:29 a.m. March 28 at 118 W. Patterson St. in Lansford.

Police said a 2018 Nissan Sentra and a 2002 Ford Escape were involved in the incident when the Easton man was driving one of the vehicles that struck the other vehicle which was parked.

• A 44-year-old Effort man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop at 2:21 a.m. March 17.

Police said they stopped the man for a vehicle code violation while he was driving a 2014 Nissan Frontier at the intersection of routes 209 and 115 in Chestnuthill Township.

• A 68-year-old Lehighton man is facing charges of driving under the influence after a traffic stop at 1:42 a.m. March 25 at the intersection of Interchange Road and Rock Street in Franklin Township.

Police said he was driving a vehicle that they stopped for multiple violations.
