A memorandum of understanding has been approved between Northern Lehigh School District and the Northern Lehigh Educational Support Personnel Association to an existing collective bargaining agreement.

In May 2021, the board on a 7-0 vote approved the collective bargaining agreement between the district and the Northern Lehigh Educational Support Personnel Association.

The agreement, effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024, called for an average increase of 2.98%.

The contract established a maximum rate, but board President Mathias Green said the guys who had maximum rate retired. “So we don’t have anybody there, so there’s no number listed in the contract,” he said.
