Athanasi Theodoropoulos, 31, of Effort, was charged by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks for failure to comply with Megan’s Law.

Police said they were called at 12:53 a.m. March 9 to a property on the 2000 block of Long Acre Drive, Chestnuthill Township, where they were told Theodoropoulos, a sexual offender, was no longer employed at the Shoe Show in the Stroud Mall since February.

Police said the report was verified by the store manager that Theodoropoulos had not been employed there since Jan. 19 and, as required by law, failed to report that information to the Megan’s Law directory within three days.
