Brothers Donald and Fred Reinhard of Palmerton were honored Sunday night at a testimonial dinner staged by the Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society.

Donald Reinhard is the chairman of the board of Pencor Services. Fred Reinhard is president of that firm.

Pencor Services is the parent company of Blue Ridge Communications, which televises the annual telethon for the local unit of the cancer society. It also is the firm which owns the Times News as well as the Palmerton Telephone Company, Prolog and PenTeleData.

In making presentations to the Reinhards, Joe Krushinsky, telethon chairman, told the brothers, “You are heroes to our board and champions to one of the most noble causes around.”
