Carbon County Friends of Animals is getting ready for its annual basket raffle.

The event will be held April 28-30 at the Orioles Community Center, 475 Drive, Lehighton.

Hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

To help make the event, which benefits the cat shelter, a success, volunteers are needed.
