Palmerton Police Department responded to 161 calls in February. The following were charged:

• Joshua Burgos, 20, Lehighton, one count of simple assault, and one count of harassment by physical contact, on Feb. 3 in the 100 block of Lehigh Avenue.

• Georgette Rimsky, 43, Palmerton, one count of simple assault, one count of resisting arrest, and one count of harassment by physical contact, Feb. 7 in the 1100 block of Princeton Avenue.

Other incidents

• In addition, Palmerton Police issued 31 traffic citations: 10 for obedience to traffic control devices, seven for expired inspection, four for window tint, two each for driving under suspension, and failure to activate hazard signals, and one each for driving without a license, driving without insurance, speeding, careless driving, modified exhaust, and trespass by motor vehicle. They also issued five traffic violation warnings, and four non-traffic citations.
