Palmerton man sentenced for cheating on drug test

A Palmerton man will serve jail time for cheating on a urine test.

Barry Tindula, 41, was charged by Jack B. Soberick of the Carbon County District Attorney’s Office with furnishing drug free urine-use or attempt on Dec. 2, 2022.

Carbon County Judge Joseph J. Matika on Thursday sentenced him to serve 83 days to 12 months in the Carbon County Prison, with 93 days credit for time served.

Tindula also must submit a DNA sample and pay the $250 fee.
