Bird walk at Tuscarora

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ conservation volunteer and avid birder, Davie Kruel, will lead a diurnal bird walk at 6 p.m. on March 31, beginning at the Crow Trail parking lot at Tuscarora State Park.

At 7 p.m., the group will go in search of owls and woodcocks. Registration is required; call Robin at 570-467-2506.

The walk is approximately one mile and sponsored by the Schuylkill County Conservancy. Those attending are encouraged to bring binoculars. This is not a pet friendly walk. You can come for all or part of the program. Rain date is April 1.
