ELEVATIONS MATTER

The higher elevations of Carbon and Monroe counties had several inches of snow Tuesday, while others just had flurries and wet roads. Drivers reported slippery conditions in the Penn Forest and Effort areas. The forecast was enough for Carbon County schools to declare flexible learning days. A lot of the snow will be gone by the weekend. Thursday will be sunny with a high of 54, followed by rain on Friday.
