A mobile home was heavily damaged by fire this afternoon in West Penn Township. The blaze was reported around 2 p.m. at 747 Dairy Road as a wood burner fire. Fire companies from Schuylkill, Carbon and Lehigh counties responded to the scene. When first responders arrived on site they found heavy smoke and flames through the roof.
