Pleasant Valley approved the following personnel items:

• Change to current assignment - Paige Saffioti, science teacher, PVMS, to third grade teacher, PVIS, effective March 14; and Amy Stone, food service employee, PVIS, from 5.75 hours to 6 hours.

• Extend long-term substitute assignment - Deborah Rivera, science teacher, PVMS, $46,467 (prorated), replacing Paige Saffioti due to a change of assignment, Saffioti was reassigned to the intermediate school as a third grade teacher;

• Change of resignation date - Adrianne Keefer, third grade teacher, PVIS.

• Hired Janelle Pemberton, ACCESS coordinator/Human Resource assistant, $62,000 (prorated), replacing Nelia Marcheski;

• Hired Mariel Novak, science teacher, PVMS, $46,467 (prorated), replacing Christine Preston; Zoe Attinello, kindergarten teacher, PVES, $46,467 (prorated), replacing Jennifer Cirba due to change of assignment. Cirba was reassigned to the high school in February as a reading specialist/gifted teacher.

• Hiring of substitute teachers for Learning Recovery Opportunity - Joan Bumbulsky, PVES.

• Addition to current assignment - Keith Miechur, monitor, PVES, $11.24 per hour; and Kathleen Meckes, substitute monitor and custodian;

• Building volunteers - Chris Kelchner, Bryana Reis, Deanna Romano, Jamie Bayard, Sarah Klein, Trista Hunsberger, Gwen Triolo and Nicole Serrano;

• Recall and remove from support staff furlough list - Mary Peleschak, paraprofessional, PVES, $26,333 (prorated);

• Resignations - Dawn Knauft, custodian, PVES;

• Student activities - James DeVivo, Woodwind Ensemble, PVHS;

• Supplemental contracts: athletic - Lauren Black and Allison Hoak, junior high assistants, and Michael Hansen, varsity and junior varsity assistant for track and field;

• Supplemental contracts: athletic non-coaching - baseball: Perry Tortora, junior varsity scorebook; girls lacrosse: Jonathan Lopez, varsity and junior varsity clock operator; track and field: Carol Priebe, junior high judge and timer and varsity judge and timer; Anne Morton, varsity timer; Augie Kresge, varsity and junior high announcer; Diane Dudak and Holli Freeman, both varsity and junior high judges; and substitute event workers for all sports: Hillary Hahn, Augie Kresge, Diane Dudak, Holli Freeman, Carol Priebe, Anne Morton and Perry Tortora.
