Bowmanstown Borough Council approved the following items last week:

• Authorized borough engineer Jessica Rehrig to submit the 2023 Community Development Block Grant application to do the first 600 feet of Lincoln Avenue.

• Appointed Public Works Supervisor Chris Bixler as the borough’s EMA coordinator.

• Will advertise for a streets person after a previous streets employee resigned.

• Borough solicitor Lisa Pereira will follow up with the law committee on the potential creation of a fee schedule.

• Tabled a quote from Stanley Sweeping Services in the amount of $168 per hour.

• Tabled action on holding another electronics recycling event.
