State police at the Frackville barracks were summoned at 9:12 a.m. March 4 to a property on Roosevelt Drive in Mahanoy Township to investigate an assault incident.

Police said the victim, a 30-year-old man from Morea, reported he was struck by a neighbor. Police said the victim refused to cooperate with police resulting in the case being closed.
