How long you worked there: I have worked at LVHN for 11 years.

Why you like your job: My job at LVHN affords me the opportunity to treat patients in the Carbon County area. It is always rewarding when I am able to help patients achieve their rehab goals and return to a more active lifestyle.

Background/Education: Slippery Rock University, Doctorate of physical therapy; DeSales University, Bachelor of Science in Finance and Bachelor of Science in Accounting; Board certified clinical specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy; certified strength and conditioning specialist.

Challenges of your job: The past few years have been challenging due to changes across all aspects of health care because of the COVID pandemic. Keeping up with the everchanging protocols and guidelines would seem overwhelming at times.

Proud moments of your job: It was a proud moment when LVHN announced the plans to construct a new hospital in Carbon County and I was excited when asked to be the rehab manager at the LVHN Carbon location.

Information about you: In my free time I enjoy participating in outdoor activities such as biking, hiking and kayaking with family and friends. I also enjoy being an active member of the community.

Why you like working for LVHN: I enjoy working for LVHN because it is a proven health care leader in the region. During my years at LVHN I have developed many great relationships with colleagues throughout the network. It is a pleasure to work with people who have similar professional goals of providing quality care to those who trust us with their health care needs.
