Jeffrey B. Lepselter, 58, of Paramus, New Jersey, was cited by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks with failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 6:06 p.m. Feb. 27 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

Police said he was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox eastbound during winter weather when he lost control of the vehicle. It crossed in to the right lane of travel and onto the shoulder of the road where it overturned and came to rest on its roof. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Police said Lepselter and an 18-year-old passenger escaped injuries in the crash.
